I really enjoyed this bottle by Adyar. The Fusion Monastique is an excellent blend that deserves a place in the cellar. It’s also an interesting bottle to have in your lineup on wine nights. It can easily be paired with a wide range of cheeses and cold cuts. It has strong notes of blackberry, plum, blackcurrant, and leather, and subtler notes of vanilla and oriental spices. The tannins are perceptible, confidently present, but they’re there to complete the experience.
