Creating meaning out of sheer boredom.
I’m Chris Khatsch.
I work at the intersection of operations, systems, and ideas. By day, I’m involved in government project delivery and strategic execution. By inclination, I write about structure, meaning, and the shifting nature of intelligence. I’ve taught creative writing, published books, built projects, and performed on stage as part of a theatrical rock band.
Bored Absurdist is my personal blog. It is like a private thinking room, a working notebook where philosophy, art, and small pleasures meet. I write about the things that make life both ridiculous and worth living: books, ideas, cigars, wine, and what it means to be human in an ever-accelerating, technologically driven world.
My Books
- A Poet’s Cigar Journal & Ten Poems, which is a poetic experiment in solitude, smoke, and time.
- The Muses of Hamra Street, which is a fragmented portrait of Beirut and its restless interior life.
Other Projects
I’m the co-founder and frontman of In Sanity Q, a Beirut-based band, experimenting with sound, blending rock, metal, and blues. Our latest album is called Test Pickles, and you can find it on all major music platforms.
I’m also the co-founder of Loor Lemon, where I help individuals stay relevant in the age of AI and help businesses find and develop people who can adapt, think creatively, and rebuild themselves in uncertain environments.
