Quorum Classic Corona on the Balcony

I’ve tried budget cigars, premium cigars, and luxury cigars. And I’ve smoked cigars made in Cuba, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. I’ve probably also smoked cigars made in countries I can’t remember right now. But no matter how many cigars I try, I will never forget my love for Quorum. It’s one of the first cigars I fell in love with, and that’s why it will always have a special place in my heart.

These days, I don’t smoke a lot of them anymore. Every now and then, however, when I get the chance to light one up, I do.

To me, smoking a Quorum Classic is like hanging out with a childhood friend.

It’s a good cigar.

Oliva Master Blends 3 Torpedo

Firm draw. Maybe too firm. But it was solved with a toothpick.

Overall, I’d say that the Master Blends 3 Torpedo is a good cigar, but it’s surely not the best that the Oliva brand offers. The Serie V Melanio Figurado, for example, is a much better smoke.

I’m still big fan of Oliva, especially their Serie V, just not the Master Blends 3.

Villa Zamorano Reserva

A casual, everyday smoke. I’d say it’s a coffee shop cigar. It burns evenly and produces a decent amount of smoke. In terms of complexity, it’s pretty straightforward. There’s nothing complex about it. It’s a stick that goes well with stout and all sorts of coffee.

Because it’s an affordable stick, smoking one occasionally is fine with me. However, I don’t think it’s a cigar that will ever earn its place in my smoking repertoire.
