Have a Cigar: Paradiso Coloso

Name: Paradiso Coloso

Country: Nicaragua

Shape: Parejo

Size: (6 3/4 inches x 62)

Strength: Medium to Full

The Paradiso Coloso is a majestic cigar. It’s big, fat, and powerful and allows you to get lost in its harmonious complexity. Notes of dark roast coffee, white pepper, earth, and black beans are accompanied by gentler notes of sweet bell pepper and chocolate.

It’s a great cigar to smoke with friends who are also aficionados or dilettantes.

Palmar Arriba cigar review

Have a Cigar: Palmar Arriba Habano Robusto

Name: Palmar Arriba Habano Robusto

Country: Dominican Republic

Shape: Parejo

Strength: Medium

An affordable cigar that is also satisfactory.

The Palmar Arriba Habano Robusto is a medium-bodied cigar that exceeded my expectations. Lacking complexity, its unassuming simplicity is what made it good. It was the right cigar at the right time.

I smoked it while starting my charcoal grill. I had a couple of beers with it, and it was all good.

Lighting up a Casa Turrent 1880 Oscuro cigar on a Friday night. Paired with Aerstone Sea Cask whisky.

Have a Cigar: Casa Turrent 1880 Oscuro Double Robusto

Name: Casa Turrent 1880 Oscuro Double Robusto

Country: Mexico

Shape: Parejo

Size: (6 1/2 inches x 55)

Strength: Medium to Full

To date, my favorite Casa Turrent cigar is the Serie 1901 Robusto, but a lot of other Casa Turrent cigars are great, too. The 1880 Oscuro Double Robusto is one example. It is a good-looking cigar rich with notes of dark chocolate, leather, white pepper, ginger, and roasted cashew nuts. Paired with a good drink, a great experience is guaranteed.
