Although I’ve said that Latourba’s Cabernet Sauvignon is one of my favorite single-varietal wines coming from Lebanon, their Merlot is not. I don’t know what I was looking for in the sip, but I was expecting at least a tiny bit more from it for sure… It’s important to note, however, that it’s still a good (enough) wine, and if you’re a big merlot fan looking for Lebanese bottles, Latourba’s work is one that you need to add to your list. It just isn’t for me. Cheers.
