I like the color — dark, violet-red, murderous. Notes of wood, loquat, and strawberries.
I’ve had a few bottles of this wine before, and I wouldn’t mind having more of it. It’s good stuff.
I like to pair it with a medium-bodied cigar to enhance the experience.

Good wine in a good-looking bottle. Feels classic. Great to bring one with you when you’re invited for lunch or dinner. Deep purple. Full-bodied and playful. Notes of ripe strawberry, dried prune, and tiny hints of vanilla.

A strong, slow-burning, affordable cigar that I like to smoke frequently. Since it is a strong one, it is not a morning cigar and also not a late-night cigar. The best time to smoke an LFD Double Ligero Chisel Maduro is in the afternoon or in the evening. It goes well with drinks like peated whiskies, dark rums, and gold tequilas.
Moreover, I’d add that pairing Ernest Hemingway books with full-strength cigars like this one has been a fun experience for me. I should do it more often. I’m starting to like pairing cigars with books as well, not just with drinks.
