Arturo Fuente Maduro Rothschild Cigar Review at Mareva Club Lebanon

Have a Cigar: Arturo Fuente Rothschild Maduro

Name: Arturo Fuente Rothschild Maduro
Country: Dominican Republic
Shape: Parejo
Size: (4 1/2 inches x 50)
Strength: Medium

There was a sweetness to it. I got interesting notes of coffee, caramel, and dried red fruits. I paired it with a bourbon, and it was a success.

The Arturo Fuente Rothschild Maduro is a small cigar, so it cannot be the MVP of any outing, except if one makes it his morning cigar. It should pair well with all sorts of coffee drinks.

When I smoked it, it was my second and last cigar of the night. So, I’d say it’s a good concluding cigar. Now I know what to do when I’m low on time but still feel like a good cigar.

Sancho Panza Double Maduro Cigar Review at Mareva Club Lebanon

Have a Cigar: Sancho Panza Double Maduro Gigante

Name: Sancho Panza Double Maduro Gigante
Country: Honduras
Shape: Parejo
Size: Gordo (6 inches x 60)
Strength: Medium to Full

The Sancho Panza Double Maduro Gigante isn’t a good-looking cigar. I do not like the black band and the gold font. It makes it look cheap. However, as the saying goes, it’s not the looks but the personality that matters. The Sancho Panza Double Maduro is a strong, aromatic cigar with strong notes of earth, oak, green pepper, and tea.

I smoked one at the lounge the other day, paired with espresso and sparkling water, and enjoyed the overall experience.

It burned quite evenly, and it had a good draw, but I expected much more smoke to come out of it. Although I was smoking a Double Toro, the smoke my cigar produced was the smoke of a Robusto or a Corona-sized stick.

The cigar lasted for about 90 minutes. And if I had to give it a rating, I’d give it an 85/100.

Château Kefraya Adéenne Red 2020

Lebanese Wines: Château Kefraya Adéenne Red 2020

Name: Château Kefraya Adéenne Red 2020
Type: Red Wine
Grapes: Aswad Karech, Asmi Noir
Year: 2020
Country: Lebanon
Region: Beqaa Valley
Date Consumed: February 11, 2024

Of all the Château Kefraya wines, the Adéenne Red is the only one that I wouldn’t have again. To be sure, it does taste like a wine made by experts, and it does come with nicely balanced notes with the potential to entertain the most demanding and selective palates. However, even though I acknowledge the creativity and effort put into the creation of the Adéenne, I’d like to play the “subjectivity” card here and say that this wine just isn’t made for me.

Please don’t take my word for it; I encourage you to try it. Who knows? Maybe you’ll fall in love with it.
