Columbus cigars. How many of them have I smoked? I lost count a long time ago.

The Churchill vitola is probably my favorite from their Regular Line, but I had quite a few Perfectos, too. They go well with lager and pilsner and that makes them great cigars to smoke with friends. I also remember I smoked one with my coffee the morning after my wedding night. So, this stick will always have a special place in my heart.

Columbus cigars, as I have said before, are unpretentious cigars, and that’s why I like them. They are high-quality; they are dependable; and, most importantly, they are very affordable.

I don’t mind smoking one every now and then. I don’t mind that at all.

Every man needs to befriend solitude.

I know a lot of people who can’t stand being alone. And I don’t understand that. Sartre would say they are in bad company.

Being alone means being with yourself. Being alone means to have a conversation with yourself. It means being yourself.

When I meet new people, I ask, “What do you do when you’re alone.” If I don’t like their answer, I don’t become their friend. People who say they get bored when they’re alone are actually saying that they bore themselves.

I never bore myself, and I like being alone. In fact, the only time I am not bored is when I am alone.

It is sad that people bore me. Most of them, at least. And that’s why I am bored most of the time. And, when they’re around, I like to drink.

Have a Cigar: Tabacos Half Corona

I tried to do a little research to learn more about Tabacos cigars, but I couldn’t find much online. I did eventually land on their website, but I wasn’t happy with the information provided there. I still don’t know where these cigars are made, though it looks like their headquarters are in Lebanon.

I lit the Tabacos Half Corona during my lunch break and smoked it on the terrace. I mostly got hints of leather and walnut. It went well with the strong cup of coffee I was having.
