A beautiful smoke on a beautiful night. I smoked one celebrating my birthday with friends.

Branding: Superb. I love art and El Septimo’s Sacred Arts collection is one of my favorites.

Construction: Great.

Pre-light: It smelled a little like French toast.

Cut: Straight cut, as almost always.

Burn: Even burn. Only had to fix it once.

Duration: 120 minutes.

Draw: Excellent.

Smoke: Good.

Ash: Good.

Flavor: Notes of chocolate, leather, wood, dried figs, and prune.

A nice, medium-bodied cigar to help me kickstart a Saturday night. I paired the first half with a vodka drink, and the second half with a blended Scotch. But I have a feeling this stick pairs better with coffee drinks.

Branding: Modest.

Construction: Good.

Pre-light: Fresh, natural.

Cut: Straight cut.

Burn: The burn was alright, although I had to fix it a couple of time.

Duration: 60 minutes.

Draw: It was a little too firm in the beginning, but it soon opened up.

Smoke: Good.

Ash: Good.

Flavor: Notes of wood, earth, and tiny hints of pepper.
