Smoking a My Father The Judge cigar.

Have a Cigar: My Father The Judge Toro

Name: My Father The Judge

Country: Nicaragua

Size: Toro (6 inches x 56)

Strength: Medium to Full

Excellent. I really enjoyed smoking My Father The Judge. Great construction, great draw, and an even burn all the way. I paired the first half with a 12-year-old Scotch and the second half with a bourbon. I was satisfied with my choices.

Mosh Gorilla Toro at Mareva Beirut

Have a Cigar: Mosh Gorilla

Name: Mosh Gorilla

Country: Dominican Republic

Shape: Parejo

Size: Toro (5 9/10 inches x 56)

Strength: Medium to Full

Affordable, undemanding, fun. I liked the Gorilla branding. But the construction wasn’t perfect.

Although I did not love this cigar, I had a fun experience smoking it. Overall, I’d say it was okay, and I wouldn’t mind smoking it again.

I paired this one with espresso and sparkling water and smoked it until there was nothing left of it.

Arturo Fuente Cigar at Churchill's Tailor in Yerevan

Have a Cigar: Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Belicoso

Name: Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Belicoso

Country: Dominican Republic

Shape: Belicoso

Size: (5 3/8 inches x 52)

Strength: Medium

I burned this cigar at a cigar lounge in Yerevan. They didn’t have a wide variety of cigars, but they did have Arturo Fuente lines on display. And that’s usually enough to make a cigar lounge a good one. The place was almost empty, but it turned out to be an evening well spent with an old friend. He was new to cigars, so after catching up, I gave him a crash course: how to cut and light a cigar, how to smoke a cigar, how to pick a cigar, and so on…

The Don Carlos burned wonderfully. I paired the first third with espresso, the second third with a glass a peated whisky, and the last third with water. Everything was great.
